Legal notice and terms of use

Last updated: July 2026.

1. Who provides this service

Provider: Alex Jimmy Montaño Fuentes. Tax ID (NIF): 42293090T. Address: Calle El Bejeque 21, 38611 Granadilla de Abona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, España. Contact email: contact@quedemi.com, where you can raise anything related to the service or to these terms.

2. What Quedemi is

Quedemi is a platform that helps find lost animals and put them up for adoption. It lets you publish listings for lost, found or adoptable animals, see them in your area, and contact whoever published them through the chat. Using the application is free.

Quedemi Protect is a separate service, aimed at companies, governed by section 6.

3. Your account

To publish and use the chat you need an account, and to have one you must be at least 14 years old. The details you give us must be truthful, and you are responsible for keeping your password safe. You can delete your account whenever you want from the application settings.

4. What you publish

The content you upload remains yours, and you are responsible for it. By publishing it you authorise us only to display it within the service so that it serves its purpose. Bear in mind that listings are public and that photographs are reachable through their web address, so do not include information you do not want to be seen.

You may not publish unlawful, misleading content or content that is not yours; other people's personal data without their permission; advertisements selling animals; violent, sexual, offensive or discriminatory content; nor use the service to harass others, to advertise, or to harvest data automatically. You may not create fake listings or impersonate anyone.

5. Moderation and how to report

We do not review listings or messages before they are published, and we do not use automated systems that decide on their own to remove content: review is always done by a person.

If you see a listing or a conversation that breaches these terms or the law, you can report it from within the application, using the report button you will find on it. We will look into the report and confirm to you that we received it.

If we find that the content is in breach, we may remove it, and if the breach is serious or repeated, we may close the account. We will tell you about the decision and its reasons, and if you think we got it wrong you can ask us to review it by writing to contact@quedemi.com. You may also go to the courts or to the relevant authority.

6. Quedemi Protect (companies)

Quedemi Protect is an impact-sponsorship service: your company subscribes to a "pet-friendly" seal and part of the fee goes to partner associations that help real animals. The seal is an advertising badge backed by public impact receipts; it is not a donation and does not generate tax benefits.

The subscription is monthly or annual, renewing automatically at the end of each period. The applicable prices are those shown on the checkout page at the time of purchase. Payment is processed securely through an external payment provider.

You can cancel the renewal at any time from your company panel (billing portal). The seal stays active until the end of the period already paid for; no partial refunds are made for the current period. As this is a business-to- business contract, the right of withdrawal available to consumers does not apply.

The seal links to a public verification page showing the status of your subscription and the accumulated impact. We may withdraw it if the subscription stops being active.

7. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. If the change is significant, we will let you know before it starts to apply. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
